Disable The Keyboard Sound On Your iOS Device Posted: 07 Jan 2013 01:11 PM PST Hey, When you mute a device, you expect the device not to make a noise. The problem with iOS devices such as iPads and iPhones, is that when you turn the sound off, you can still hear the tap tap of the keyboard. I find this really annoying. However, there is a simple any easy way to turn the sound off. It only takes only little setting within the system preferences. To turn off the keyboard sounds, along with the lock sound open up the settings on your iOS device. Select the sounds option from the sidebar. If you scroll down you will notice there is too switches titled ‘Lock Sounds’ and ‘Keyboard Clicks’. You can turn both of these options off. I like to turn off the keyboard sounds, as I do find them quite annoying. I would like to see it where if you mute your iPad or iPhone it would turn these sounds off, however this option is currently not present. Its only a simple option, however it did take me longer than I would admit in trying to find it. Want to catch up on the latest Tweets about this site, follow me on Twitter. |
