Devices To Use Towards Subway Perverts

By Sasha N Urech

To state that my daily travel is not the highest point of the day is an understatement. In fact, it adds a lot to the strain which I have been experiencing for a long time right now. I head on to work on a packed train, where I can hardly breathe, and ride a nearly empty train to make my way home in the evening.

The train ride going back home is particularly unpleasant because there have been occasions when perverts as well as drunks would go near me. Well, I have been told that the greatest defense towards these people is to complain loudly and get the attention of people. Keeping that in mind, I acquired travel accessories like a mini travel alarm with PIR sensor to finally rid myself of these kinds of creeps.

The personal alarm which I got my hands on is designed to blast off a 15-second, 100 dB alarm the moment the alarm cord is pulled. One hundred decibels is the same as the sound of a chain saw or a pneumatic drill. That ought to be powerful enough to bring in attention and also deter any bad guys.

My tiny travel alarm possesses an infrared sensor able to detect movement as far as nine feet away. Sliding down the cover reveals the sensor, making it ready to detect motion.

This sensor can also be set into the automatic detection setting. Upon switching into automatic mode, the sensor will start working within one minute.

That surely provides one more layer of protection for me, especially if I drift off to sleep throughout my trip. Moreover, it can readily sense an approaching attacker, foiling any kind of plans to take me by surprise.

My own security alarm features a built-in LED flashlight, which comes in handy during the night. Furthermore, its miniature form brings not only portability but also the element of surprise to my side.

Right now, I never leave the house without my safety alarm. Possessing this mini travel alarm with PIR sensor close at hand as one of my travel accessories has surely assuaged some of my anxiety.
