Click here     In the black community Jeff Sessions was confirmed as attorney general, despite a stern dissent expressed by Coretta Scott King in 1986. More than 30 years after concerns about his views on race derailed his judicial nomination, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) was confirmed as the 84th attorney general of the United States on Wednesday. Republican Senate let men read Coretta Scott King’s words against Jeff Sessions, but blocked a woman from doing the same. Senate Republicans gave up their blockade of the words of Martin Luther King Jr.’s widow Wednesday morning, allowing two male senators to read Coretta Scott King’s denunciation of Sen. Jeff Sessions after barring Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) from doing so the night before. Black women face devastating losses if Obamacare is repealed. If President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans move forward with their plans to repeal Obamacare, that coverage will go away. So will the tax credits that help lower- and middle-class families afford insurance.
