RB Karlos Williams released by Buffalo Bills Posted: 20 Aug 2016 04:44 PM PDT The Buffalo Bills have released running back Karlos Williams. Behind LeSean McCoy on the depth chart, Buffalo now have Reggie Bush, Mike Gillislee, and rookie Jonathan Williams. Rex Ryan and the Bills organization had previously thrown their support behind K. Williams after his four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy. FANTASY ANALYSIS: Wow. The NFL's preseason never ceases to surprise. Karlos Williams was very impressive at times last year. And really, most teams have shown patience when it comes to morally ambiguous decision-making by their players. There's certainly more to this story although who knows how much we'll hear about it. Williams could land in a great spot on another team. As for Buffalo's depth chart, I'd say Mike Gillislee is the back to own. Many might prefer Jonathan Williams, but Gillislee has some every-down potential. For now it's a toss-up. |
