Cowboys WR Dez Bryant will not play today

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 02:30 PM PDT

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant will not play today. He paid his own way to New Jersey but will not play in the game. He will be on the sidelines with his teammates. FANTASY ANALYSIS: He has to be officially listed as inactive. However, that appears to just be a formality at this point. Bryant will not play against the New York Giants today. Get him out of your lineups if you were still holding out hope.

Chargers TE Antonio Gates will be a true game-time decison

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 02:22 PM PDT

San Diego Chargers tight end Antonio Gates will be a true game-time decision today with a knee injury. He could truly go either way. It will all depend on how he feels in pregame warmups. FANTASY ANALYSIS: Ladarius Green should have some value whether Gates plays or not. However, his value drastically increases if Gates is inactive. Either way, it's hard to imagine Gates will be 100 percent with an MCL sprain. So, he will likely be limited at the very least.

Chargers RB Melvin Gordon will be a game-time decison

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 02:14 PM PDT

San Diego Chargers running back Melvin Gordon will be a game-time decision. However, he is not expected to play due to an ankle injury. FANTASY ANALYSIS: If Gordon is inactive, which he's expected to be, Danny Woodhead will be the lead back. Branden Oliver will see significant touches as well. He could be a sneaky good DFS option against the Oakland Raiders.

Rams WR Tavon Austin active for Week 7

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 02:06 PM PDT

St. Louis Rams wide receiver Tavon Austin is active for Week 7. Austin has been dealing with a hamstring injury. FANTASY ANALYSIS: Speed receivers with hamstring injuries are always risk for re-injury. Still, he will be out there today and certainly has upside against the Browns. He should be considered a risky, high-upside flex option this week.

Redskins TE Jordan Reed is active for Week 7

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 02:00 PM PDT

Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed is active for Week 7. He has finally cleared the concussion protocol and is good to go. FANTASY ANALYSIS: Reed is as healthy as Reed can be. With that said, he's always a high-risk start due to injury risk. Reed being active casts Derek Carrier back to irrelevancy. Reed should be in the low-end TE1 conversation.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson is active for Week 7

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 01:53 PM PDT

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is officially active for Week 7. He's good to go after dealing with an illness this week. FANTASY ANALYSIS: This is more of a formality than anything else. Although he was listed as questionable, he was fully expected to play. You never know though.

Rams RB Tre Mason is inactive for Week 7

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 01:47 PM PDT

St. Louis Rams running back Tre Mason is inactive for Week 7. He will be sidelined once again with a lingering hamstring injury. FANTASY ANALYSIS: This is great news for Todd Gurley owners. Gurley was already a great start and now he's even better. Mason is quickly fading into Fantasy obscurity. He has little value with Gurley healthy.

Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin inactive for Week 7

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 01:41 PM PDT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is inactive for Week 7. He was expected to play but will not be out there. He is dealing with concussion issues. FANTASY ANALYSIS: This comes as a surprise. Maclin was reportedly expected to go. With him out, it's going to be tough sledding for the Chiefs' offense this week. Pull him out of your lineups.

Patriots RB Dion Lewis inactive for Week 7

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 01:37 PM PDT

New England Patriots running back Dion Lewis is inactive for Week 7. He has been officially ruled out with an abdomen injury. FANTASY ANALYSIS: LeGarrette Blount should serve as the lead back with Lewis out. Brandon Bolden should also see an increase in snaps and targets out of the backfield. Get Lewis out of your lineup.

Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin is expected to play this week

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 01:30 PM PDT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is expected to play today. He has cleared the league's concussion protocol and should be good to go. FANTASY ANALYSIS: Maclin is a much needed boost for an otherwise miserable Chiefs WR corps. Maclin should be a solid option against a subpar Steelers secondary. As long as his quarterback can get him the ball. Alex Smith may be the definition of mediocre.

Patriots WR Brandon LaFell will play Week 7

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 01:19 PM PDT

New England Patriots wide receiver Brandon LaFell will see his first action of the season this week. He started the season on the PUP list with a foot injury. He is the one piece the Pats offense has been missing this season. FANTASY ANALYSIS: LaFell is a very risky play this week. It's his first action of the season and he's facing one of the best defenses in the league. It would not be at all shocking if he went off. Nevertheless, it's very difficult to start him with any confidence this week.

Chargers WR Stevie Johnson is expected to return to action this week

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 01:12 PM PDT

San Diego Chargers wider receiver Stevie Johnson is expected to return to action this week after missing time with a hamstring injury. He is expected to play a significant role in the offense. FANTASY ANALYSIS: Johnson could be a major factor this week. Antonio Gates, Keenan Allen and Melvin Gordon are all significantly less than 100 percent. Johnson could be a sneaky good start this week against the Oakland Raiders.

Titans QB Marcus Mariota is inactive for Week 7

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 01:04 PM PDT

Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota is inactive for Week 7 with a knee injury. Zach Mettenberger will get the start. FANTASY ANALYSIS: Mariota has been ruled out and will not play. Mettenberger is not a viable option as anything more than a very cheap DFS option. You should probably find a different option.

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger inactive for Week 7

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 12:57 PM PDT

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is inactive for Week 7. He tried to play but could not. Landry Jones will get the start in his absence. FANTASY ANALYSIS: It would be nice to have Big Ben this week, but there is a silver lining here. If he really was that close to playing, this should be the last game he misses. His return appears imminent.

Patriots RB Dion Lewis does not expect to play today but has not been ruled out

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 12:48 PM PDT

New England Patriots running back Dion Lewis (abdomen) does not expect to play today. However, the team is not expected to make a decision until closer to game time. This would be a tough break for the Patriots who have really leaned heavily on Lewis this season out of the backfield. FANTASY ANALYSIS: This is a tough blow for Fantasy owners. Lewis was likely to be heavily utilized against the New York Jets this week. Their defense has been great this season, however, if they have a weakness it's against underneath routes. Backs and tight ends can take advantage. You probably need to get him out of your lineups at this point. It's not looking good.

Rams WR Tavon Austin is expected to play today

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 12:30 PM PDT

St. Louis Rams wide receiver Tavon Austin (hamstring) is expected to suit up today. He is listed as questionable but was able to return to practice on Friday. It looks like he'll be able to give it a go. FANTASY ANALYSIS: Austin has been much better this year than he had in the past. Mostly because the coaching staff is finding more creative ways to get him involved and get him the ball. He's still not a consistent source of Fantasy production but at least he has some upside now. Austin can be utilized as a flex option if needed.

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger could be a true game-time decision

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 12:21 PM PDT

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be a true game-time decision today. This is according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He says head coach Mike Tomlin "is waiting until the last possible minute to determine whether Ben Roethlisberger will play today vs. KC". FANTASY ANALYSIS: It's still very unlikely Big Ben plays this week. We fully expect Landry Jones to start. However, this is something to be monitored up until game time. If he starts, you should start him. He's too good to bench and his weapons are tremendous. He's a great start pretty much every week he's active. Jones, not so much.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson is fully expected to play this week

Posted: 25 Oct 2015 12:14 PM PDT

Minnesota Vikings running back was downgraded from probable to questionable late in the week with an illness. Nonetheless, he is fully expected to play this week. The illness should not be an issue. He is not expected to be limited or hindered significantly. FANTASY ANALYSIS: If you have Peterson, you're obviously starting him. He's a must-start on a weekly basis. AP should be considered an elite RB1 and he has a great matchup against the struggling Lions. Plug him in and play him with confidence, he looks good to go.
