Vikings RB Adrian Peterson put on Exempt List, might miss rest of season

Earlier reports stating that the Vikings might 'reverse course' on letting RB Adrian Peterson play in Week 3 have now been founded. Peterson has been placed on the Exempt/Commissioner's Permission list by the organization. Peterson will be out indefinitely and quot;suspended from activities with the team effective immediately" until his legal proceedings are finished, which might not take place until the end of the season. FANTASY ANALYSIS: There are no hard timetables here. Peterson's child abuse charges have to play out in the court system, which could take months. With that said, you should hold on to Peterson in re-draft leagues to see if his case is expedited, and he is a solid hold in dynasty leagues until we see how his court case goes and how the NFL decides to discipline him. Matt Asiata must be picked up in any format, although Jerick McKinnon may be the better long-term stash in dynasty formats.
