| How To Send Contact Information To Other People Posted: 20 Aug 2013 11:47 AM PDT Hey, Keeping in touch with people is very important, although there are tools such as Facebook, good old fashioned telephone numbers and email is still used by many people. Today’s post is going to show you a quick way of sharing contact information with other people. This saves you having to type out the information in an email. We are going to send the contact card directly in Contacts to the person we want. This is done either by email or by Messages. Sharing Contact InformationOpen up Contacts from your address book. Select the contact you wish to share. At the bottom of the message there is a share button. This can also be found from Card > Share My Card.  You can share any contact information with the share button The option allows you to share the contacts by email, Messages or Airdrop. Email will provide open up your email provide (eg Mail) and set the attachment as the contact card. This is a .vcf card that you can double click and drop straight into Contacts.  Share via Email, Messages or AirDrop When you clicks on the Message option, a little window will pop up allowing you to send a message with the contact information. This is a more native way especially if the receiving user is a Mac user.  Sharing with Messages is the best and simplest way. Using either Mail or Messages is the most efficient way as you send the actual contact information. No exporting or importing. Just the details themselves.
