The Diablo 3 monks are masters of martial arts

The sacred monks are born with the charge of protecting their homeland. They use this secondary skill to rush directly towards the enemy knocking them back and slowing them down. This power can be used from the fifth level of the game. You can use this skill after using 15 spirit for every strike and an additional 10 spirit is to be used while channeling. This character undergoes a thorough training before becoming a holy warrior. They meditate to gain strength against temptations. There are several skills that aid these monks in the battle field. Some of these are called combos and these techniques help in resource generation along with hitting the target, these resources called spirit can be used to initiate some other skills that help them to progress in the war zone.

Tempest rush is another energy generating skill. You can directly charge through the enemy lines and slow them down by 60% for a time span of 2 seconds. While you run you can also deal 50% damage of weapon. The customized runes of tempest rush are flurry, slipstream, bluster, northern breeze and tailwind. You can use these runes to reduce the cost of channeling or increase the speed of movement and so on.

Mantra of evasion is unlocked at level 19 of the game. You must spend 50 spirit energy for each usage. When the monks chant this mantra, you and your allies within a range of 4 yards gains 15% chance of dodging enemy attacks for 3 minutes and an additional 15% chance of dodging attacks is activated for 3 seconds. The different customized forms or runes of this mantra are perseverance, hard target, wind through the reeds, backlash and divine protection. You can use these runes to increase movement speed or duration of the effectiveness and so on.

You have to expend around 100 spirit to use this skill. The runes of this technique are pillar of ancients which summons an ancient pillar with 240% weapon damage capacity with an additional damage of 2405 is done after 2 seconds. The empowered wave rune stone reduces the cost of wave of light to 60 Spirit. Wall of light gives the Initial damage strike an increase to 240%. Explosive rune stone releases energy with the capacity of dealing 330% damage. Last but not least the blinding rune stone helps in stunning enemies for 3 seconds.

The rune effects of sweeping winds are blade storm which intensified the vortex and increases damage percentage. Fire storm which increases the vortex radius by 14 yards and damage dealt is changed to fire. Cyclone helps in spawning a lightning tornado that electrocutes enemies. Inner storm rune stone gives 3 spirit energy per second. Master of wind causes the duration of the vortex to increase to 10 seconds.
