Written by the Indian author Amish, the second book in the much acclaimed and popular Shiva Trilogy, The Secret of the Nagas has now been released. When the author came out with the first part of this trilogy, The Immortals of Meluha, it instantly became a runaway success and soon climbed all the bestseller charts. Finally in 2011, Amish released the highly anticipated second book in the trilogy trying to emulate the success of the first book. In this article, we'll take a look at all the important events that can take place.
The Secret of the Nagas starts off where the reader was left in the 1st part, wherein the Naga warrior has kidnapped Sati and killed Shiva's friend. The 2nd part will more or less revolve around the story of Shiva avenging his friend's death and rescuing Sati from the clutches of the mystical Naga warrior and exposing the veil behind the Naga clan.
Amish will once again look at creating the same magic of mythology and history mixed together to form a pot-boiler of a plot and a tale of love and lies. Will the reader see the 2 clans unite to fight a common enemy or will be see truth being vanquished by all the evil around it?
Also, Shiva's journey towards becoming the Mahadev or the lord of lords will continue and we will hopefully see our hero in a stronger light this time around. Hopefully, we will also see Shiva fulfill his destiny and successfully chase off all the doubts that have been lingering in his mind for a long time now.
Just like the 1st book in the series, the author will have a few aces up his sleeve while doing promotional activity around the book before its release. The cover of the book is already out and has become a hit in online forums with people loving its creativity. Also, the use of another trailer film like last time cannot be ruled out as well.
Some critics hit out at Amish during the release of his first book by claiming the language to be not up to the mark of a good writer. This time, I'm sure, Amish will have gone an extra mile to prove all his detractors wrong. There is going to be the introduction of some more new characters in The Secret of the Nagas who will bring alive the book.
